Personality: Mason is a kind and friendly person that tries to get along with everyone however he won’t go out of his way to make someone like him. He hates bullying and seeing kids being picked on and he will often defend anyone being bullied in any way he can whether that means getting an adult or confronting the bully himself. Mason tends to get really competitive whenever he does track or plays video games doing his best to win. He likes animals (especially cat like animals) and enjoys watching them reading about them and petting them however when he sees a dead or even an injured animal depending on his day and how bad it looks. He will either start to tear up and quickly walk away, freeze replaying that night (check history) until someone snaps him out of it, or he will simply go silent and not talk to anyone for an hour or two.
History: Mason started his life in a large apartment with his mom Sarah his dad Ben ten cats. His parents were veterinarians at the local animal hospital and they tought Mason at a very young age many things about animals common to there area and uncommon and by the time he was starting school he knew much more stuff about animals them most six year olds. When Mason started school he was wearing his favorite tiger shirt when he met a kid named Alex Graisen who started calling Mason tiger boy due to his shirt. Mason didn't mind and the two of them soon became best friends always hanging out togeter hardly ever leaving each others side
A few years later when Mason was eight him and alex were hanging out at Mason's house alone playing video games. His parents had left 15 minutes ago to the animal hospital for an emergecy call and had said they would be back as soon as they could and not to leave the apartment or open the door for anyone. Mason and alex had just turned off the game system and were about to whatch tv when they heard a loud bang come from the door. They both exchanged a startled glance and starred at the door waiting for somthing to happen. Another loud bang came from the door along with the sound of cracking wood as the door started to give way. they both exchanged a scared glance and motioned for eachother to be silent before they both quickly headed for the nearby closet. Just as they entered the closet and started to shut the door there was another bang fallowed by a loud crash as the door broke down. Mason and Alex dived into the pile of clothes hiding them selfs underneith. The two of them staired fearfully thru the half open closet door into the living room as they heard footsteps aproaching. They watched as 2 masked men walked into view holding pistols with silencers on them. The two masked men started looking around 1 started grabing stuff and shoving it into a bag the other noticed one of Masons cats siting on the floor and shot it. The 2 boys flinched slightly and Mason's eyes started to water a bit. The first masked man looked at the second sligtly anoyed "why'd you do that" he asked geting back to grabing stuff. "Cause i hate cats that's why" the second man said seeing another cat and shooting it. Mason closed his eyes after that as did Alex the two of them trying not to cry as they listened to the masked men loot the house and kill the cats. About 20 minutes later the two masked men finally left the house. Mason and Alex stayed hidden in the clothes not daring to move incase the men came back they waited for another 20 minutes before they heard somone coming. the two of them tensed but they soon relaxed as they heard Masons parents yelling there names. The two of them quickly ran out of the closet and to Masons parents calapsing into there arms. Mason looked behind himself back into the living room and saw several of his cats lying dead he quickly looked away back at him mom but he soon heard a mew coming from somwhere. Mason looked bihind him and pulled away from his mom fallowing the mewing sound he followed it to his parents room and looked under the bed and saw his favorite cat . He started to cry a little from joy as he reached underneith and pulled out his cat before going back to his mom trying to ignore the dead cats around him his mom gestured him outside where there were a couple of police oficers. Mason and Alex sat on a bench as the police oficers asked him some questions the two of them tried to awnser the best they could and the police took there statements adn headed back to the station. Alex's parents came and picked him up offering Mason's parents a place to stay until they figured everything out. Mason's parants agreed and thanked alex's parents before moving in with them.
A month later the criminals were caught trying to steAl from another house and Mason and his family moved back into there house there insurance paying for most of the damage and most of the stolen objects though they couldn't get the cats they lost back leaving them with only one. After the tramatick experience both Mason and Alex started therapy together and both there parents pulled them from school deciding to home school them until they were able to deal with what happened better.
2 years later a week before Mason and Alex were going to start 5th Grade there theropists sugested that there parents put them back into school. There parents agreed and the next week Mason and Alex started school. Mason was enjoying school and at the end of the month had one of the highest grades in class but on the other hand Alexes grades seemed to be dropping he had started out fine the first week but after a couple of weeks alexes grades started to drop. He also seemed tence and kind of jumpy when Mason came up behind. A week after Mason started noticing Alexes strange behavior Alex showed up at Mason's house with a huge black eye. Mason asked what happened and Alex said he fell. Mason didn't believe him and pressed the subject untill Alex finally admitted that he had been punched and that one of the larger kids jeremy and his goons had been bullying him Jeremy had a reputation and had been suspended several diffrent times for bulleying. Mason was angry and asked why Alex hadn't said anything Alex awnsered that if he had then jeremy would have hurt him badly. Mason pointed out the black eye and Alex said it would have been worse. Mason told Alex to sleep over tonight and that he would deal with it tomarrow. Alex said not to that's he'd be ok but Mason said he'd deal with it.
The next day Mason and Alex were eating lunch when Jeremy and his goons came over and asked Alex to come with them. Mson told them Alex wouldn't be going anywhere and that he knew what they were doing. Jeremy simply sneered and asked what Mason was going to do about. Mason said he wasn't going to be doing anything because Jeremy was an insensitive prick that wouldn't be able to touch him no matter how hard he tried. Jeremy glared at Mason and yelled "oh yeah" pulled back a fist and threw it forward aiming for Mason's jaw. Mason held his jaw out and waited for the inpact which shot Mason off his feet and onto his back where everthing went black
Mason woke up in the nerses ofice with a pounding headache and an aching jaw. He felt his jaw and winced is hurt alot. the nurse came in said glad your awake she said that his jaw wasn't broken but he would have a nasty bruise for a while she also said that jeremy had been expelled for hitting Mason and that he wouldn't be bothering him anymore. Mason smiled and winced slightly because getting jeremy expelled had been his plan the whole time. Mason left the ofice with an icepak and met up with Alex who was upset about Mason being hit. Mason explained his plan to Alex and Alex looked at Mason unhapilly but thanked him for stopping Jeremy. A few weeks later Masons bruise was mostly gone and Alex's grades were looking much better things were going great
A year later Mason and Alex started middle school and joined the track team. the 2 of them were extremly fast and exeled at the hurtals the dashes and the mile runs (and such) runs beating everyone there natural competive nature made them work hard to try and beat eachother though they were always pretty even winning against eachother by inches most of the time. The next 5 years the 2 of them did several diffrent school wide competions usally placing or getting close to placing. They also got into some mager compitioons and came close to placing in the top 3 several time but they couldn't quite make it
One day Mason and Alex were hanging at Mason's house Alex had been at his cousins the last few weeks so this was the first time they'd hung out in a while. They played some vr video games for a while before Alex asked Mason to cable link. Mason was a little surprised and confused but he agreed grabbed a cable and hooked it in. Alex said he was sending over a game and that if it downloaded they'd talk more about it in the morning. Mason said ok and as Alex sent the game over Mason downloaded it it downloaded fine and Mason asked what brain burst was. Alex said he'd anwser his questions in the morning. Mason said fine wondering why he had to wait an hour later the 2 of them went to sleep and Mason had a weird dream but when he woke up he couldn't remember anything except a name Midnight Spartin. He told Alex about his dream and Alex said that was normal it was the program he installed then he grabbed a cup he said that when he thru the cup to say burst link Mason had no idea what he was talking about but he agreed. As Alex thru the cup the 2 of them said burstlink at the same time the world went blue and time seemed to stop the cup freezing in mid air. then Masons stepped out of his body into his avatar tiger knight. He looked over at Alex who had also stepped out of his body into his avatar tiger ranger they had modeled there avatars together so Alexes avatar looked like Masons except his had orange and black stripes like a normal bengal tiger he had a tail like Mason's and tiger teeth his surcoat also had an orange tiger in the center he also had a quiver and a long bow strapped to his back. Mason started asking a million questions andAlex awsered all of them explaining everything he new about brain burst and that his cousin had given him the program when he was over there. The 2 of them decided to go for a walk and talk more about it. A while after they were walking and talking they heard a strange noise above them they looked up and saw parts of the building coming down on them burst link they both said the ruble freezing they stepped out of there duel avatars and tried to figure out what to do. Alex looked at Mason saying he was to close to the building but if he pushed Mason out of the way he could get away with no injury. Mason didn't want to agree but he couldn't see any other option and Alex may not be hurt to bad. They both turned off there burst link Mason felt himself pushed away from the falling rubble Mason felt a hard object hit his right ankle. Mason bit back his Pain and looked back at ALex he had maneged to push Mason and himself out of most of the rubble but there were several pieces of wood on Alexes body and one right next to his head it looked like it had landed a glancing blow on his temple knocking him unconous. Mason tried to get up to help Alex but a searing pain went up his right leg he looked down at it and saw a large board on his right ankle it hurt horibly and whenever he tried to move it it sent waves of burning pain up his leg. He looked back at Alex tears coming to his eyes He said his name a few times but he didn't even stur though he was still breathing. A minute later a few people started to clear the debree off Alex and the board off Mason. a minite later an abulence pulled up and a couple people came out of the ambulence they put Mason and Alex carefully each onto a gurney befroe loading them into \the ambulence. It took them to the hospital Alex was sent to the imeadiate emergency care part while Mason went to a part for none life threatining cases It turned out that Masons right leg hadn't been broken but had been severly sprained.
A few hours later Mason was sitting in his hospital room waiting to see how Alex was. A few minutes later a docter came in a gave Mason the news both of Alexes legs were broken his right in 2 places and his left at the ankle his right arm was also broken on the wrist and shoulder amazingly there was no spinal damage how ever he had suffered a concusion there was no sereous brain damage that they could see but he was in a coma and they weren't sure when he would wake up. Mason asked to see him and they said he couldn't untill Alex was more stable Mason understood but he really wanted to see him. the next day Mason was released from the hospital with a pair of crutches being told to take it easy and not to over do it he agreed and went home trying not to over do it.

Combat Style: When fighting someone with a melee weopon he uses his broadswords longer range to keep them at a distance while still dishing out alot of damage. When fighting a long ranged openant he closes the distance getting close and striking for as much as he can.
