Personality: Tsubasa, as she is, tends to gravitate to being a rather independent individual, rather than relying on others to get things done for her. Of course, she is quick to make exceptions to this, such as for someone who has bested her in a video game or earned her trust and friendship. She is a very expressive person however, using outlets such as art and writing to express herself. She is also quite the fan of several manga and comics, embarrassed by the fact she has so many. She also likes to boast about her hacking skills, frequently willing to show them off to others. This is the Tsubasa on the surface. Underneath, is well, an emotionally fragile person with her own tragic story. The Tsubasa who goes every inch while practising ballet but has no one to watch her dance. The Tsubasa who goes home to only the company of her voice, missing the people she called mother and father. The Tsubasa that is scared to live, scared to take that next step because she doesn't know when it will all end.
History: Tsubasa is the sole surviving child and heir to the Inoue Conglomerate. The Inoue Conglomerate is comprised of five different companies her mother and father brought together under their umbrella and management. The companies are a talent agency, a chain of popular restaurants, a fashion designer, a video game developer and publisher, and a pharmaceutical company. Because her parents were quite busy handling the Inoue Conglomerate, Tsubasa was largely left to her own devices growing up, having the freedom to experiment as to where her interests were and what she wanted to do with her life. Tsubasa spent plenty of time around the fourth branch of the Inoue Conglomerate, developing her interest for art, writing, and developing her strong passion for video games. From them, she picked up many of her skills, including hacking, something she planned to develop and use to protect herself.
As Tsubasa grew, so did her own expectations. She began taking ballet lessons, juggling her interests in a positive way and keeping herself absolutely delighted. She attended a prestigious private academy that her parents had recommended for her, and Tsubasa herself frequently played an assortment of video games with the other girls at the academy. She developed an incredibly tight friendship with her identical twin sister, Miyu. Before, Tsubasa considered Miyu to be the one who would inherit the conglomerate, which was fine by her. But she learned Miyu loved video games and even got Tsubasa into manga and comics. Tsubasa quickly decided this is how they would make up for so many years of misunderstanding. As time passed, things would not be so.
Miyu's grades began to slip, and Tsubasa began to worry about her sister. Intent on finding out the problem, Miyu explained that everything was fine and that Tsubasa shouldn't visit their parents. However, Tsubasa ignored her sister's warnings, and went to visit their parents. She arrived to find her father, still as his blood pooled. Her mother was screaming, almost as if she was gagged. Tsubasa ran, crying and holding back her screams until she found herself at a police station, asking them to go to her home and help her parents. Alas it was too late, her parents were dead. Tsubasa finished that her last year of schooling, wanting to get away from anything that would remind her of her parents. Miyu, wanted to help.
Miyu offered Tsubasa a program, telling her it was like a game of sorts that she could play against others if they had it. She explained that, it was the reason her grades were slipping and that she had no more interest in it and wanted to give it to her sister. She promised she would always be there for her, even if it didn't appear so. With that, the twins parted their separate ways. Tsubasa transferred to some sort of public school, hoping she woudn't be recognized by anyone, and the trusted members of the board handled running the conglomerate smoothly with no Inoue of age to claim it.
After they parted ways, Tsubasa found herself crying. Everything was dark, desolate, but most importantly, damp. Her legs, she sat submerged in something. A liquid perhaps? It was thick, warm. Tsubasa knew what it was. Blood. She sat, in the blood of her mother and father. The killer loomed over her, taunting her, dropping both the bodies of her mother and father into the pool before it ended with a violent snap of the neck. Awoke did Tsubasa, fearful and driven into a state of panic as she tried to calm herself down and put it all behind her as trauma from what she had seen.
In the coming days before she would start attending the public school, she tried out the game her sister gave her. She found it strange, not to her taste but decided that perhaps, she should do more research into this game. But she needed to get away from her past, and she had placed her faith in public schooling.
